2Misleading Packaging  Aug 19, 2010

I bought this knife because I love the X-Acto brand of art/craft knives. I read the packaging which stated that this retractable knife has a metal core. When I took it out of the packaging, I immediately noticed how light and cheap the product felt. Only the twistable/threaded top is metal, the remaining 90% of the body is thin plastic. This product is large and bulky, and is awkward for even my large hands to use. If I could, I would have returned this product. A person would be better off buying the Gripster or the far superior X-2000, which can be found for approximately half the price of the Retract-A-Blade.
