Excellent Dec 04, 2006
By Meghan Logan

This X-acto set is wonderful. It keeps all the sharps in a nicely organized box safe from the eyes of children. My only disappointment is that the very sharp pointed blades, (two or three per box), lose their tips sharpness after just a few uses. I don't know if you can sharpen them again your self or if you just have to keep replacing them. I use them to cut contact paper to make a stencil for glass etching. After two stencils the tip is no longer sharp enough to cut the contact paper without tearing it. But all in all it is a very useful tool.

Great combination at a good price Feb 25, 2010
By Michael G. Lustig I work with animal hides to make custom inlays for knife handles. These knives are perfect for my work. Personally, I use mostly #17 and #18 blades and hammer on the handle. There is only one #17 and #18 blade included so I bought 100-pack of each someplace else.
The plastic insert on the top holds the various blades on a magnetic strip. It was taking up too much room and I removed it. This allowed me to store 200 spare blades in the same space. Now, everything I need is all in one place. Nice!

Perfect for Carving Dec 05, 2012

This is the perfect pumpkin-carving tool set. It created a set of Game of Thrones pumpkins for Halloween. Dire Wolves and Dragons and Krakens, oh my.

Quality at a Price You Can Afford May 23, 2009

While I would always give X-Acto high ratings on reputation alone, this is an especially good deal. The design and quality of the box makes it easy to keep your X-Acto tools and blades handy without worrying about them spilling all over the place. Needless to say, I highly recommend this product.
Nice set covers most cutting needs! Apr 08, 2013
By L. Lamson This is a nice set of Exacto blades and handles! Well made and sturdy, the blades don't break under a bit of pressure like cheap off brands. The upper molded plastic piece for the blades tends to fall down when fully loaded, but a piece of double sided tape or hot glue will solve the problem.
