Good but not great Jul 04, 2012
By archi_shih Very good looking pen and writes well, but not as smooth as I was expecting, compare to Pilot decimo for example. And ink sometime not flowing right at first stroke, maybe it drys in the pen easier than other pens? Still a good writing tool though.

BEST Value Pen on the market Mar 07, 2012
By Sebastian J. Ricciardi Terrific pen. Soft and comfortable. I own 5 different pens, and this is one of my favorites. I own pens much more expensive than this one, but the hemisphere wins by far in terms of smooth writing.

A little small, but an Amazing pen Feb 16, 2012
By Izzy This is a great pen, it looks really good as is, and it also looks really nice if you put it in a suit pocket. The pen is on the small side, it is about 5 1/4" closed, and 4 3/4" without the cap, and 5 1\2" to 5 3/4" (the top of the cap is designed to be at an angle) with the cap on. The pen writes well, and has a nice weight to it. I like my pens heavy, and I would have preferred it to be heavier, but it is certainly not a lightweight. The cap and barrel are made of metal which makes it feel like it's of good quality, but the part right over the nib which you put your fingers on is of hard plastic, which makes the pen noticeably lighter near the nib. It sits very well in the hand though, and this pen is making me ambidextrous. I am usually a lefty, but this is the first writing utensil which I can comfortably use with my right hand. I was able to write legibly with my right hand with this pen, and I am becoming ambidextrous with this.
So why did I give this amazing pen 4 stars? I am not happy with the quality of the finish. After a couple of days of being in my pocket with my soft leather wallet, there were already small scratches visible when you look closely. I use a Pentel P205 pencil and a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck ballpoint every day. I have had the same P205 and Meisterstuck in my pocket with my keys every day for over a year and they are in better shape than this has been in my pocket without my keys after 2 weeks. If you leave this in a shirt or suit pocket, it should last well. This pen is comparable to a Pentel Client Pen in many ways. Both pens are of about the same diameter (the barrel of this pen tapers at the top, but the part that touches your hand is about the same as the client), about the same length, similar weight, and the barrels are of similar quality and finish. Both pens have metal barrels, but the client has a slightly more metallic color to its finish. The finish on this pen wears off in the same way it has on my Pentel Clients, so I highly recommend you give the client a try if you are feeling iffy about this because of quality, it's weight, or it's size, the client only costs a couple of bucks.
Overall, I feel that this pen is worth the money, and I feel like it will last a long time, but don't expect it to stay looking pretty if you use it as an everyday pen/
