The best pens need the BEST ink ! Jan 24, 2011
By B. Willmot Pretty simple review here. If you own a Waterman fountain pen (I bought mine in Paris many years ago) then you have a choice of buying the consumable 'ink' in two forms from Waterman (never use any other suppliers versions) a cartridge, sold in boxes of eight, or the ink bottle to refill the reusable cartridge which came with the pen purchase. Blue/Black seems to be the most popular color and it has never clogged or failed me. Buying the ink on Amazon at a reasonable price is the way for me.
Name change Feb 21, 2012
By detainee I ordered blue/black and was sent mysterious blue instead and was disappointed. I have just learned that the ink has gone through a name change and while the color is the same, only the name has changed. While I'm sure the color will be suitable and fine for my purpose, an explanation would have been most welcome.
Waterman ink review Jul 20, 2011

"Camera Nut"
Bought this ink because of its "pen friendly" rating by experts. Also, no stores at all carry bottled ink anymore. Was priced right and arived as represented and ahead of time. The color does seem to be more blue than blue/black however but it flows nicely and dries rapidly in my vintage Parker 51. Thanks Amazon !

Great Product, but not exactly what I ordered Apr 04, 2011
By swissmiss I ordered Waterman ink in blue black and I received a very nice bottle of blue ink of a different brand. Shipping was excellent and the product was very fairly priced, so I wasn't too upset in getting a different product from the one I ordered.
