A great 9x9 for all sorts of baking Nov 12, 2011
By Mrs. Night Owl
I bake a lot. I have all different brands of pans, from the basic stuff walmart sells to the fancy sold at Sur La Table. This pan is a great workhorse. I use it for brownies, cornbreads, coffee cakes, and occasionally as a carrier for treats. The lid is fairly substantial, fits securely, and doesn't scratch as easily as some others. The pan and lid are both dishwashed every time I use them. The coating is slick and I never have problems with removing any baked good, however if you're going to use it as a fudge mold you should line it with non-stick foil (because it's a big job getting the fudge out, even when buttered). I highly recommend this pan - it is the only 9x9 I use.

DOES WHAT IT SAYS Aug 21, 2011
Well, I don't care for non-stick coated cookware, BUT... this baking pan is the right size (9x9), is made of thick stainless steel, and the lid is sturdy and snaps on and off. It's a great price too. And, it fits perfectly in the Breville Smart Oven. My brownies came out perfect-- having cooked evenly side-to-side, top-to-bottom... no hot/cool spots in the pan at all. What more can one ask for? Buy with confidence.
p.s. This pan can be washed in the dishwasher, just make sure you put the lid on the top-rack.

Great for my uses Aug 21, 2012
I bought this pan because I needed something smaller to use in my toaster oven. I use it much more frequently than the large oven as I just cook for two. The pans made especially for the toaster-oven are just too small. They can't hold the quantity needed. And the ones for my conventional oven are too large to go into the oven. This size pan is just right. I have used it for much more than brownies. I have used it for a roast with vegetables and also for meatloaf. The non-stick coating is great. Clean up has been a breeze. This was really a good purchase for me. I certainly recommend it if you are looking for a smaller but functional baking/roasting pan.

Heavy pan, folded edge, perfect size, AND a cover! Mar 24, 2012
I have several cake pans much more expensive and this one stands with them! I've seen a pan like this one priced double. Thank you for your fast ship and acurate description!

As those of you who have read my review of: Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix, 20-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4) know, philyodaddy loves his Brownies. This pan brings the brownie game to the next level. You know how usually after you make brownies you awkwardly transfer them to a plate and then put aluminum foil on them for a few days while the man of the house eats his way to an early grave? NO LONGER. WRRS9b9ICP (wow thats a long name for a $9 pan) has the do-work cover which was obviously invented by a genius. Snap that puppy on and your work here is done.
As I have outlined before, I gladly pretend that making brownies is challenging and that my Stacie is the best in a tough world. This pan makes that harder as everyone can see how simple making brownies is. Oh well, I will take delicious, simply-made brownies and eat the hell out of them. Did I mention it is dish washer safe? What does this pan not do? I'm practically getting a reach-around from this thing.
As usual (a new tradition), I will end this review with my financial analysis. My lady paid $10.88 for this (possibly tax included) so the current $8.77 price is criminally negligent on Amazon's part. AMZN stockholders can't be happy they are just giving these things away.
