 Beautiful fire truck cake: very easy!!! Jul 14, 2005

I had never decorated a cake before and decided to try this pan for my son's birthday cake. The needed materials are listed in detail, as well as the directions to decorate the cake. It took me some time to do it (about 2 hours), but the directions are great and the cake came out beautiful, looking just like the picture in the pan. I highly recommend this pan for amateur bakers.

It's just perfect: enough definition to enable the baker to frost the tires, cab, cab door, ladder, and truck body clearly. It holds exactly one two-layer cake recipe. Ideal for all the fire fighters you know.

My son loved his birthday cake. He is a big fan of firetrucks and their "Woo woos". It comes with instructions on how to decorate it. If you've never decorated a cake before like this. I might suggest making a practice one. This was my first and it took forever!! The company this pan comes from has proven to be reliable. Everything I've ever bought is great! Along with this I bought the firetruck napkins, plates and cookie cutters. What a great birthday!!

My wife used it and created a beautiful and realistic children's fire truck cake. Colors are suggested, but you can change to suit. Highly recommend it for bakers wanting something simple yet creative.

I had bought this cakepan to make the cake for my son's first birthday party. I like the cake pan alot! Although I don't know when I will ever use it again. It came with the instructions on exactly how to make and decorate the cake. The only recommendation I have is buy red icing! I ended up having to buy red icing because the instructions to make your own ended up tasting horrible!
