Although the tool does cut fondant fairly easily, the wheels are plastic with rough edges. I found that I needed to use an emery board to smooth the edge of the wheels to get clean cuts... something tha should have been done at the factory. I do however like that the wheels are stored right in the handle and are easily interchangable.

I do love this tool, it help me make a nice designs but it's not that good for cutting. It's called the cutter embosser but I use it mainly for embossing.
I used the straight attachment for making lines. I have tried to use it for cutting but I usually would have to go back and forth a couple of times with it which would make it a little uneven and/or not as clean cut. I would rather use a knife or a pizza cutter. The attachment that is being stored in the picture, I used to make a nice "stitching" design in my fondant ribbons. I have yet to be able to use the third attachment, so I cannot comment on it at the moment.
You can store all the attachments within the tool itself, which is great. I have so many attachment for things they just take up a drawer themselves and it gets confusing what belongs to what. So I am glad this keeps the attachments with it.
I would recommend this tool for making decorations but if you are buying it mainly as a cutter it may not be your best choice.

I found this tool perfect for using on fondant cakes and gumpaste figures for creating the illusion of stitches. It looks extremely real and gives your gumpaste figures the professional look.
It's easy to use and you don't need any experience to use this.
The price is very reasonable. This is a must-have product for any "caker" out there.

I bought this product for my wife that is initiating in the wold of cake decorations, and she is very pleasant with this cutter.

I love the idea of this product. I have used it quite a bit, I love the look of stitching. I only give it 4 stars because the stitching roller has somewhat jagged edges (plastic that is not cleanly cut) and so it somewhat snags the fondant, leaving a not so clean appearance at times. Maybe more practice will help me figure out how to fix the problem.
