Worth Every Penny! Jun 04, 2007
By Karin D. I LOVE this pan/mold! It's made of nice, thick, quality silicone, and it makes the cutest flower-shaped muffins!!
I am one of those people who was very anti-silicone. I had heard stories of how difficult silicone bakeware is to use, and how things didn't cook right and everything stuck to the silicone, making whatever it was that you baked just a useless mess of mutilated baked goods.
I am a changed woman! This flower-shaped pan/mold changed how I look at silicone bakeware. It's AWESOME, and really easy to work with!! There's no need to buy any more paper liners for muffins or cupcakes!
It's dishwasher safe, and I love how I don't have to worry about rust, which was a constant problem with my metal muffin tins. Also, they're super flexible, so you can bend them any which way to store them, or to fit them into the dishwasher, and they always retain their sweet little flower form afterwards.
Finally, a couple tips for silicone baking:
1. ALWAYS spray the cups with non-stick cooking spray before filling them with batter. I use the butter-flavored Mazola spray. Just so you know, and you don't freak out when you see it, the pan gets discolored on the top from the baked-on cooking spray that didn't land into the cups. Don't worry, they're not ruined. It's normal.
2. Make sure you bake your food for several minutes LESS than called for on your recipe. I learned that the hard way. Food baked in silicone bakes faster. I wound up with plenty of burned muffins. :( For example, I make muffins in this pan on a regular basis, which are supposed to bake 16-21 minutes. I usually bake them about 14 minutes, and they're perfect, golden brown.
You won't regret buying this flower muffin pan! Another great Wilton product! I LOVE it!

Great for baby food Nov 23, 2010
By PandaMomma Great for freezing your own baby food. Each cup holds roughly 6 ounces. I cover it with saran wrap and it does the trick. You can pop each frozen food out easily because the silicone is bendable. Highly recommend this for baby food rather than spending the money on the fancy stackable containers made specifically for baby food. Simply take the frozen molds out when it's done and stick it in a zip lock or other container to store.

Perfect Flower Muffins Oct 14, 2007
By Garden Kitty My kids love muffins for breakfast but I hated making them. Those awful metal pans -- so difficult to clean and to store. I went looking for a solution, and already being a fan of Wilton, I decided to give their silicone line a try.
I've been very happy with all the silicone products from Wilton. This particular mold makes perfect little flower muffins every time. The molds clean-up extremely easily, and have retained their shape perfectly. The muffins taste just the same as with the metal pans and look far better since they just pop right out of the mold leaving lovely golden sides all around.
Unlike the other reviewer, I find that I need to cook my muffins for longer than usual. This may be because I cook multiple molds at a time and also place them all on a large cookie sheet (not required but I like the ease of getting them in/out all together). Just takes a few minutes longer. With any new recipe, I just keep an eye on them towards the end.

GREAT FOR USING AS A DESIGN ON TOP OF CAKE Jul 28, 2010
By New York City Mommy I bought two of these pans for the sole purpose of decorating the top of a 12"x12" birthday cake that I made. After I put the frosting on, I positioned twelve of these flowers into a heart-shape and filled strawberries inside. I only wanted low-profile flowers, so I poured like one large heaping spoon from the larger spoon that usually comes with your 5-piece dinnerware. Although I forgot to spray the molds with oil or butter, it didn't need it...I guess because mine weren't like full-size muffins. The cake rose to like half-an-inch, which was perfect for my use. As others have said, it takes less time to cook, they come out moist and obviously you should use a pan underneath it for support. By using a pan for support, I lowered the temperature from 350 to 325 as the cake recommended. I used the good-old-toothpick-trick to test it. Definitely glad with my first silicone-baking product and will be on the lookout for more!!
