I ordered this cake pan hoping that I, the woman who has blown up pyrex and has given my husband food poisoning(more than once), could make a birthday cake for my son's first birthday. If you can bake a cake from a box...you can use this pan.

This cake pan bakes a very nice cake! and its so easy to decorate even so such an armature as I am :) It comes with a book of recipes and a few tips on how to decorate this cake. Pan looks nice and will be used for a few more first birthday parties in our family :)

This cake pan was easy to use and turns out a super cute cake. The booklet included gives ideas with instructions and pictures. I incorporated a couple of the different ideas and I think (as did party guests)that it turned out very good. I am an inexperienced cake maker so if I could do it really anyone should be able too. The cake was not very large so if you are having a big party like we did you may want to make more then one or do what I did and make another cake that goes along with your theme. I made an Elmo one and a small round one for the birthday boy to destroy.

I bought this cake pan for my son's first birthday which was a few days ago, and I have to admit I was a bit terrified of making it and decorating it. I also bought Wilton 53 Piece Supreme Cake Decorating Set to help me with the decorating.
First off the pan comes with instructions on how to prepare the pan before putting in the batter. I always used to just spray in some pam and bake the cake. IT ALWAYS STUCK! I followed the instructions and the cake came out of the pan SOOO easily, no cracks, no little pieces of cake stuck to the pan... it was PERFECT.
The decorating kit was amazing too...I will definitely be purchasing Wilton products for any and all of my baking needs, and I recommend everyone else to do the same.. :)

I used this cake pan for my son's first birthday. Great pan - made an awesome cake and decorating it was easier than I thought. Highly recommend.
