Water Separator for Air Compressor Dec 21, 2010
By ezeeridr I have only used it once but it did extract a few drops of water from the compressed air. The water is visible in the container.

A must at the gun Feb 07, 2012
By R. W. Milyard
"GearJunky"
There was a time when I tried painting enamel and lacquer (epoxies were not around yet) without a second separator at the gun and paid for it usually at the last gloss coat after going through two or three base coats and ruining the whole job. So, I have been using one of these little guys for at least 40 years now. The one I was using for the last 40 years (opaque creme color housing) came up with a small crack around the water release piston, so I bought two of these (you could also go for the Neiko, no big diff), and they work just fine on both my FLG2, and MBC (I use the MBC most of the time; just can't get used to a top heavy rig). The only thing I have against the filter is that when installing on the gun (using thread tape) it will bottom out on the filter as the filter threads don't do a great job of interference fit. This is a very minor thing, and there are no leaks even at a top of 40psi on either gun. You should run a minimum of two water trap filters on any rig, One big one at the compressor, and one at the gun, unless you are just spraying something you don't care about. With auto paint at $80.00 a gallon minimum and going into the stratosphere from that point, you really can't afford not to use a water trap at the gun.

By Fragroan Nice, reasonably priced and so far working well. I am not an expert in the sprayed paint/compressed air world but so far looks like it does what it claims to.

No Information with Product Jul 15, 2011
By J. Watford The following is all the info in or on the package: AIR MINI FILTER MF8054
I've used it for several hours in summertime high-humidity Florida and have seen no signs of moisture in the compartment of the filter. I'm new to spray painting. I've not noticed a problem with the paint that I'd attribute to moisture so hopefully it's working.
Shipping time was acceptable.
