I purchased one of these compressors and after almost 2 years of use (for daily application of makeup for one individual... so that's not much for a "pro tool") my unit has slowed down to barely blowing. For repairs, Temptu proved to be hugely disappointing. On my initial call, they couldn't give me a turn-around time so I could be weeks without my unit. This isn't acceptable for me so I tried calling other qualified service centers for general air compressor repair, and those who knew of this brand said all heard the same thing, that the unit wasn't reliable. They all referred me back to the manufacturer. On my second call, the very friendly Temptu person said that they don't actually "repair" it but rather, they replace it (since it costs less for them) as long as it's under the 1 year warranty. I'd have to pay them to assess the unit (I was told that their testing method is to attach another air gun to it and test it... OK maybe I can handle that... sheesh...). They then suggested I purchase their other "S1" unit which they claim out-performs this one. My confidence in their equipment is now at zero based on everything I've learned, and while I can't speak for their "S1" model because I never used it, I'm incredibly frustrated at having paid a chunk of money for this particular unit with such a disappointingly short life span. If you're a professional makeup artist that likes the portability of this unit (which is how they promote it) I'd highly recommend you going with a trusted brand of air compressors that can be serviced anywhere much faster. You won't have to ship it back to their NYC head office, pay the inspection fee and wait an "unspecified" amount of time to have it serviced/replaced by them. I love their makeup products, they are by far the best in that field but I'd stay far away from these compressors.
