Pretty good deal. Oct 24, 2010
By J. Strickland The kit costs not much more than a brayer alone, and that brayer comes with a linoleum block, a carving tool, and ink. That is a pretty good deal. The tray is made of Styrofoam, but it works in a pinch and I have used it a couple of times with no problems. This is a starter kit, not an advanced kit and as such it is a great deal. I may actually get another one.

Good little starter kit. May 23, 2011

I purchased this kit in order to do a project for my humanities class. The kit covers all the basic needs for anyone just getting into linocut and/or relief printing. You will need to purchase some decent quality printing paper since the kit does not include any. This kit has opened up a whole new hobby for me. See my upload pictures to see my first completed project using this kit.

Good starter kit Aug 16, 2010
By Rommelioh Good for a starter kit, the only thing is the foam tray, got damaged by the linoblock, should think of a harder material.
speedball set great deal Jan 18, 2012
By mom of three This is a great price for this starter kit. It's a must buy if you want to start block printing. the only thing you need to replace is the styro-foam ink tray.
Great kit! Dec 16, 2011
By L. Schaefer Great way to get started on block printing, and a very good price. I did find, though, that for inking the roller an 8x10 inch piece of plexiglass from the hardware store (costs about $1.50) is much more useful than the tray.
