Great Supplement to Snazaroo Face Painting Kit Oct 05, 2010
By amazonaddict These sponges are a good supplement to the Snazaroo face painting kits, which come with a circular sponge and a small brush. The wedge allows you to paint finer lines and paint face crevices (e.g., a nose). Cut them in half to get extra mileage out of them. I only used them for one event, so I don't know how they stand up for multiple uses. I gave the product four stars because these are not as good as a makeup wedge that you can buy at any drugstore.

Don't go the drugstore route. Please. Nov 02, 2011
By Xaidezignz Snazaroo sponges are not very porous so they are not the best in applying their own face paint. If you don't want those, do yourself a favor and do not get make up ones at the drug store. The pores are smaller and all they do is soak up the paint into the sponge.
You need a nicely large and porous sponge for even application and to not waste your paint. You'd be better off purchasing a few bags of pottery sponges from Michaels out of the craft section and cutting them into quarters or thirds. The pores are larger, the sponge a bit denser, the mileage even better for the price. But if you want to go for the golden - get Wolfe Brothers or the green Fantasy sponges.

Not worth the money Aug 15, 2011
By Mom Although the advertisement shows two sponges, you only get one for that price. Definitely not worth the money. As mentioned in another review, you can buy something better at Walmart or a drugstore much cheaper. If I could give it no stars I would.
