I bought this gold pen to cover over the silver bits on a purse that I wanted to make matte gold. The paint in the pen flowed out quite nicely, without globbing or gushing. It was a slow process, because there was so much silver hardware on the purse, but I did the project in stages. If you are doing a small bit on something, say buttons, it would be lightning fast.
The paint was dry to the touch within 5-20 minutes, but I didn't use the purse until a full 24 hours had passed. I don't know how long the paint will hold up on something that gets a lot of wear and movement, but so far, so good. The pen was a medium point, and for some of the smaller crevices, it would have been nice to have a finer point(which they do make). There's still a lot of paint left in the pen, so I feel like I got my money's worth. Happy with the results.

This sharpie (gold paint) is great. I bought the med. tip but a fine tip would of been nice as well. (For signing Art work-{photographs}). I recommend this product as a very useful item.
