Made out of 8 lb. density foam, it has a .008" thick base plate. Comes with 3 - 1/8" rods and end caps. 6" Sander - Very comfortable to use and will last for years instead of months. These sanders are generally used for scuffing surfaces prior to painting and sanding areas that are unsafe for barehanded sanding, such as areas with exposed spot welds or sharp edges. The 6" Sander is a non-adjustable hand-held sander without the Rods that the Bigger sanders come with. 9" Sander - Designed to incorporate the best features of its two predecessors. By combining the two it's probably the most versatile AFS sander to date. It's also the largest sander intended for one hand operation. This sander is only nine inches long, but will easily outperform board files twice its length. An ideal choice for sanding cowls, motorcycle tanks and fenders.
