This calligraphy set is great for anyone new to the art of calligraphy
The set includes 1 bottle of permanent black ink, 1 pen holder and 3 nibs
The pen itself is easy to assenble but as far as directions go,
you'll need to buy a seperate book that teaches you what to do
over all I like it for the price,
good for anyone who's never done calligraphy before

This product is for someone who already has practice and skills in calligraphy writing. The nibs are very good and give clean strokes and the ink can handle any kind of paper that you use without bleeding. The 3 nibs, the holder and the ink = you could not get it for a better price.

If you want to do calligraphy, this is a good set. It comes with only 3 nibs and they are 3 calligraphy nibs, however. I purchased an additional set which had all of the nibs I wanted. So, if you can do with only 3 calligraphy nibs, it's fine. The pen is the traditional black wooden pen, and the ink is Speedball Super Black, which is fine with me.
I'm glad I bought the package, it's worth it, but I did know I'd be buying additional nibs.

It works, but it is nearly impossible to use and doesn't come with directions. The ink doesn't come up so don't spill it on anything. Also, the ink always sinks through even the thickest pages, and smears everywhere.
