Works perfectly fine Jun 17, 2011
By Amanda Knapp I haven't had any issues with the Prismacolor pencils breaking while using this pencil sharpener. It does a perfectly fine job for an incredibly cheap price. I would recommend using this one.

Works As Described Jan 27, 2012
By Christina I'm using this sharpener with my Prismacolor set! I have not had any breakage from sharpening so far, which is a pretty great considering how fragile coloring utensils may be. As it is my first sharpener exclusively for colored pencils, I can't really compare it to anything else. Overall, it works as described and is worth the few extra dollars to maintain a quality set of colored pencils.

Manual pencil sharpener Oct 23, 2011
By LoieR Easy to use, compact and best of all, makes a nice long point on colored pencils. Some others kind of chew them up, but this works nicely. Best of all, it is inexpensive and small.

What's the point? Nov 07, 2011
By Traci A. Pitts I bought this to accompany a set of sketching pencils. After pressing too hard, I broke a point. I had to literally shave away half the pencil before I could use the pencil again. Everytime I got a point on the pencil from using this sharpener, about 1/4 of it would pull straight out of the pencil. So you lose out all the way around:your money, the pencil and the sharpener.
