Air Brush Review Mar 01, 2010
By David's Bookmark The Paasche Air Brush is hardly a toy. I have used an "H" Type for nearly 15 years in my restoration business. Only recently did it give out and I was compelled to order another one. The AMAZON vendor I used, located in San Diego, CA, had my new brush shipped almost immediately. I recieved the unit within two days for the standard shipping rate. The brush does exactly what I expect it to and I am very pleased with it and the AMAZON Marketplace seller.

Should have purchased one earlier Mar 27, 2012
By Grandpa I've been a hobby spray painter for about 40 years, and use production guns, touch-up guns and airbrushes for painting cars as well as painting products from my woodshop. I have switched to HVLP for the larger paint jobs.
Quite a while ago I asked for advice from an artist friend of mine for an airbrush. Based on that advice, I purchased a high-end double-action airbrush (Binks Raven 2). I liked the airbrush, but it was meant for an artist. I am definitely not an artist, and it took a while before I finally mastered the Raven. It consistently did an excellent job; I can't say the same for me. I paint wood model sailboats and other small items I make in my woodshop with it.
After 30 years, I can no longer get parts for my Binks and it needs rebuilding. I was forced into purchasing a new airbrush, so searched online for information. Based on that research, I decided a single-action airbrush was more appropriate for my uses. Paasche products get great reviews and I found this one on Amazon for a great price that I couldn't match elsewhere. I ordered it last week; it arrived today.
I couldn't wait to get to work on my latest model -- a J-Class sailboat for those who might care -- and headed out to my garage to paint. As soon as I opened the package, I was impressed by the quality of the Paasche. I power it from a large compressor so have no issues with air pressure. I experimented with pressures between 20 and 40 psi using thinned acrylic enamel. I discovered that the airgun atomized the paint very well and laid down a nice even pattern. It was easy to set up, easy to hold and a great little gun. I like the paint jar-siphon setup with this airbrush better than the paint cup-gravity setup on the Raven.
I have no doubt this airbrush will last a good long time and I am sure I will continue to be very happy with it. It is quite simple in design with very little that can go wrong with it. Did I mention that it is very well built!
Great for duracoat Feb 27, 2012
By Timothy A. Dewees I purchased this airbrush to apply a product called duracoat to my firearms. It's a polymer/acrylic type coating that prevents rust and helps protect the firearm.
Other than being a little thick and in need of some thinning, I was able to apply it with the stock #3 brush without issue.
I used my Bostich show air-compressor and dialed the regulator down to 40 lbs and it ran perfectly.
I had no over-spray or other issues and the evenness of the coat was amazing. The brush feels solid in your hands and works great for spraying on lots of paint.
extremely satisfied with the service! Nov 10, 2008
By C. ROSS hobby warehouse went that extra mile. Even though the 3B valve was discontinued on the paasche airbrush H card by the manufacturer, Nathan went above and beyond to make sure that I received it. I will be a return customer! rcmr223@aol.com
