Painting the frame and what-not under my truck.
Prep: sprayed anything I wanted to paint with a citrus cleaner/degreaser and scrubed with industrial scothbrite pad. Rinsed with the garden hose, let dry.
Application: Long pants, long sleeve shirt, long gloves(like your mom uses to wash dishes), face shield or at least some goggles(especially if you wear glasses!!!). Tip: If you're gonna do it bare faced, apply a liberal coat of vaseline to your face, that way the paint that splatters won't stick to your skin.
The paint is pretty thin so it goes on easy. Buy some disposable "cut brushes" and throw em out when you're done. As the directions say: DO NOT paint right out of the can. Pour what you need into a disposable container and seal the can back up right away. Air and moisture are the enemies of storing this paint. I have the last 10-12 ounces in a plastic water bottle in the fridge. The bottle was squeezed to push all the air out before capping.
Goes on easy and smoothes itself out pretty well. Apply 2 coats or topcoat with something else.
If you get this on your skin, it will be there for about a week!

It saved me alot of unnecessary sanding. Scraped off the loose stuff. Powerwashed. Used a wire brush. Powerwashed and used POR15. HARD AS A ROCK. THANK U POR15!!!

I used this product before and am happy with results. If you prep the surface, this stuff will work as advertized. I will use this again and definitely would recommend POR15 for your rust issues.

I have used this product before (~2-years ago) on my SUV undercarriage. This product, 2 years later, remained well attached to the undercarriage and looks as fresh as when I first applied it. Now I have purchased another quart so I can apply to my wife's minivan undercarriage as well as my son's. This is one product I can call it the "Right Stuff".
