By Madeline I like iDie, because it's easy to use. If you go to Dharma trading, you can get directions for dyeing clothes. I've used the Olive color before it's a brown-green, as show here, not the olive green that's show on Dharma trading. Hence the 5 stars for good product, decent price, and accurate color wheel.
Overall, I haven't had success with dying. First time, I used alot of salt, as recommended, and the salt ruined the fabric. This time I wanted to fix a shirt that had gotten a big bleach spot on the front. The dye took relative to what was underneath so it's still blotchy and unwearable. You can buy color stripper but having used that previously, beige became a weird light orange/yellow, and that piece of clothing was junked too. Without another product, color set, your clothes will run in future washings, so be careful. Re-dyeing good quality black 100% cotton clothing, with little salt, and color set, to make them blacker are the only dye projects that have worked for me, and even that has limited results. That's nothing to do with the product, but sharing my do-it-yourself dye experiences.
