I use this compressor for an airbrush to paint plastic scale models. So far it has worked better than I had hoped. I use the badger 5mm hose so I had to fool around with adapters (If you want to use the air regulator your going to need a 1/8 to 5mm (Badger) adapter, you can find them at chicago airbrush supply, just google it) If you have an airbrush that works off of the standard 1/8" hose than the compressor is good to use out of the box.
The air tank is the best feature. The compressor turns on (Which is loud, no matter what they advertise) fills the tank to a certain psi, and shuts off....leaving it you with silence to work. when the pressure dips below a certain point, the compressor turns back on and fills the tank. If you spraying your brush at 30-20 psi, which can be regulated quite well with the regulator, the tank will never dip below that psi unless you hold the nozzel down solid for 3 minutes or so. Most compressors are 80 to 100, but they always need to be on. this one does not, and will last you even longer because of it.

I purchased this to use with an Iwata HP-CS. Overall, it's a pretty nice system, but I've noticed there's a small ding in the air compressor, which may have to do with the main problem: It is leaking from the gasket on the top of the device very slowly. While it's barely noticeable, I think it's sufficient enough to keep the tank from holding as much air as it should, resulting in the air compressor having to be on for much longer than it should (and it get's HOT).
