I found that this finishing pad did a fantastic job. I used this pad with Meguiars Dual Action Polisher on speed 2. The result of this was a thin even coat of wax that was effortless to remove. This pad cleans out great and is durable. I detail cars and have done 4 cars with the same pad and have had no signs of wear. To wrap this reaview up I highly recomend this pad for anyone that has a dual action polisher and wants to apply wax or polish.

I bought the meguiars buffer and all the products to go with it! All the different pads... polishes... waxes... etc because my hubby & I both have BLACK cars and I was having a heck of time making the black look deep & scratchless & no DREADED swirls... Well.. Halleluah! MEGUIARS buffer with all the "goods" did it! We have fiberglass bodied cars but 2 different blacks... his vette took no time at all to look drop dead gorgeous, my XLR took a bit more time and few extra steps recommended by the pros at Meguiars.. but it ws SOOOO worth the phone call & every dime I spent on the full line of Meguiars... Our cars (our pride & joys) look as brand new as they ever did! THANK YOU MEGUIARS for making me fall in love again! (with my CAR !!!) hehehhahaha

I clayed, used UC, and then I used NXT wax... by hand. The results weren't really, well, great. It was like nothing happened. I saw a billion teeny swirls, scratches laughed at me, and I was disappointed at my own work. Did I apply too much product? I'd say yes, but hey, it was my first time. So I did my research, read up on MOL forums, watched videos, and looked at many pictures. The G110v2 was the way to go. To cut it short, I applied extremely little wax to this pad and used my newly learned technique to "layer" this wax on top of the previous hand wax job. The pad applied the wax extremely well and the swirls are now super hard to see. Washing the pad? Easy. Just throw it in the washer and let it run. Before doing that, I spun the pad around on the G110 and pressed it against a MF. That helped too.
Read up on Meguiar's forum. They have professionals there to help you out with your problems.

no problems whatsoever with this pad when using meguiar's liquid waxes. they're durable and work as advertised. velcro is sturdy.
