Great Information - But - It takes practice May 08, 2012
By Lisa Johnson This is an excellent old school book with great information. It's kind of hard to understand but it thoroughly explains how to straighten out metal. But you have to get an old fender and practice the techniques. It's not a step by step but but rather explains how the metal moved in the first place and how to get it back. It is truly a must have book to read and understand if you ever want to do professional quality straightening of sheet metal work.
Handy Basics Mar 25, 2012
By Mel Mackinnon The Key to Metal Bumping is fairly basic but very handy information. A person would be a very long time figuring this information out on their own. A bargain book that every metalshaper and body man should have in their toolbox. It is full of tidbits that are being lost due to changes in the way automobiles are built. Explains in easy to understand terms how to do a repair without resorting to chucking on gobs of body filler.
