Nice airbrush Feb 04, 2010
By D Constantine After using my single action airbrush, this took some getting used to. Adjusting the air and the paint at the same time has advantages over the single action. Also, having the paint container on the top allows for faster filling than on the bottom. I am just starting to learn how to do detail work but this airbrush will certainly do it. I tried my friend's $159 Badger airbrush and, while it is nice, does not do anything more than this one that I can tell.

PERFECT, WELL ROUNDED AIRBRUSH Mar 30, 2010
By Trapper This is my first airbrush. At this price I don't know why anyone would want to meddle with a single action airbrush first.
I'd say the learning curve is pretty easy for double action airbrushing; especially if you have any experience using canned spray paint. Starting with a dual action airbrush, particularly this one with its ability to use a wide range of paint types, will save you time and money.
I primarily use this with enamel paints and it has worked very well so far. Cleaning is simple enough and it comes with an assembly guide so disassembly is not to much of a concern.
It's not mentioned in the product description but there is a depth-stop-like screw on the rear of this brush that makes returning to the same paint flow volume very easy. It makes for a very nice surprise additional feature.
Good all around air brush, can't see anyone going wrong choosing this.

Great quality and easy to use Apr 30, 2010

I don't airbrush, but my husband does and this kit was for my son. My 14 year old son was able to get everything connected and start air brushing within 5 minutes. I also bought the quick connect and 6' hose that was recommended. My husband has a 25 year old air brush kit and he says it cost him almost a $100 for a similar one that I paid 1/2 the amount for. He was impressed with the quality and ease of use and cleaning. So far my son has used it to airbrush model cars and T-shirts (different paints of course). He has been able to keep it clean and has had no problems with anything in this kit. I highly recommend it for beginners.

Very low quality Jan 10, 2011
By Kurgan I got two of these as my first airbrush. One did not work from the start with a poorly drilled air cap so it did not create the low pressure to suck the paint out. The other worked ok for a time, or so I thought, I rapidly outgrew it and decided to get a Iwata HP Plus and from the very first use I realized how different a class it was. Things that I did not notice such as irregular size droplets of paint compared to the uniformed and smooth spray pattern of a Iwata, huge difference in build quality etc my work looked instantly better!
The bottom line is, if this is as far as your budget stretches or just to see if you like airbrushing then you can make this airbrush work just fine, assuming you don't get a defective one like one of mine (I think QC is a issue with master). However they are made to a price and are nowhere near the build/spray quality of Iwata, Devilbiss etc if you can stretch your budget I would avoid this and go to a Iwata eclipse as you will avoid a lot of frustration and get finer lines to boot even with the HP-BCS .5mm. Also it will last you a lifetime, @ 1.5 years both my masters are long dead and my first Iwata is working like the day it arrived.

so much better than the suction. Apr 20, 2010

I bought the suction kit that came with seven airbrushes all suction fed. Very hard to clean and uses a lot of ink to change colors. Not for the betginner like they say and definitely not easy to change color and clean. This one however is very easy to change the color and doesn't waste a lot of paint. Cleaning is still tedious but better than using the suction airbrushes.
I did try to contact TCP Global but they just keep telling me they have to talk to the manager and NEVER call me back or email me back. Bad customer service for sure.
