Super shine in half the time. Apr 16, 2013
By AllisonMac I make pine cone wreaths. The natural cones are raw and dull looking. With just one coat of this glaze the color pops and suddenly there is a previously unseen depth of color, like a good finish on fine furniture. A second coat is not necessary but to me that super shine is irresistible.
Silk flower arrangements sometime look best in a woven natural basket, and this is the product I use to take the "country" out of the baskets, to give them sheen and depth, an "uptown" look when that is desirable.
When I painted my French Provincial headboard Krylon white with the gold accents this is the product I used to keep the gold from tarnishing. This product is so good I would never even consider using anything else.
A word of caution. Some paints will not accept a clear glaze without softening or wrinkling or otherwise ruining the finish so if you are considering using Krylon Triple Thick Clear Glaze over a previously painted surface, be sure there is compatibility first.

Excellent, easy to use, crystal clear... May 10, 2013
By Aja Just shake and spray at a distant of about 12 inches moving the spray across your target. After 20 minutes add a 2nd coat, perhaps a 3rd. Let dry for 3 more hours. It is that easy.
But make sure to do this in a well ventilated area.
I use it to protect thin waterslide decals that would otherwise be far to fragile for normal touch.
The resulting coat of acrylic is crystal clear. You won't be able to tell it is there. But the surface has become sleek and smooth with a coat that will protect your item for a long time. Casual use will not mar the coating. I found that I need steel tools before I can scratch the coating.

Excellent Clear Spray Paint May 07, 2013

I discovered some time ago that rocks have incredible natural beauty, seeing them after a rain. This started when I was living in Long Island where there are tons of rocks everywhere! I have a thing for rocks... perhaps from my father. To retain that natural beauty that shows when they're wet, I discovered this great spray paint. It works much better than the regular clear paint. But, a tip: the price of this same paint on the Dick Blick website is $8.35.
