Series 2 Pearl Ex for Poly Clay Aug 26, 2010

I have not used series 2 in Pearl Ex. But I just ordered it. I have used Series 1 and love it for polyclay. After you have finised your polyclay creation, lightly brush a Pearl Ex powder on the item, then bake it. Different colors give different hues to different color clay. The shine and luster Pearl Ex adds to polyclay makes your creation so much nicer. The powders last a long time, too, as you use so little on a project, unless it is a monster project.
This $16.?? price with no shipping for me with amazon prime,is the best price I've seen. I'm waiting for the Series 3 to come way down in price with free shipping, then I'll order that, too.
I recommend Premo or Fimo polyclay for their ease of shaping.

Not what I expected. Sep 10, 2009
By KC South Park I thought these would be useful in scrapbooking and that they would work like embossing powders. They didn't work like that, but there was absolutely nothing to describe how to use them in a different way. Could've been more descriptive with the product beforehand, and the product itself could've contained more information about its use.

and they work better than expensive MAC shadows which cost the same amount for 1. These pigments are beautiful, rich color, and if you want stunning eyeshadow, use these, not actual eyeshadow! save a ton, also great for special fx for halloween.
Glowing colors Dec 13, 2011
By Louis Gedo These powders do not have a binder but if that's what you want, then I'd recommend them. The colors are really nice. Among my favorite is the green and the copper...they really are shimmering!
powdered pigments Dec 04, 2011
By Carol L fabulous colors - everyone loves the ornaments I make with the pigments. I could not get my hands on the 32 color set - but this 12 color set was great.
