No Bull from the IWATA HP-B Airbrush Mar 07, 2011

The HP-B is a precision built airbrush that is perfect for maquette sculpture painting. I have now used it on two models from 5" to about 10" tall. For this work I like the smallish reservoir because it doesn't get in the way of detail work and tight spaces. Used with an IWATA PowerJet pro I'm satisfied with the consistent airflow, predictable lines and quiet operation. Keep in mind that this is for relatively small illustration / modeling work and at it's biggest can deliver perhaps a 1" spread. If I intensify this hobby I will probably consider stepping into some of the higher priced IWATA airbrushes. For the money, I think you'll find the IWATA HP-B Airbush a solid value.
