 Saral transfer paper made my pillowcases easy! Mar 29, 2012

I purchased this product specifically to transfer designs onto pillowcases for our color guard group. The transfer paper worked great! The roll makes it easy to customize the size you need for your project. I did 8 pillowcases. The transfer paper was tough enough and dark enough that I was able to use some sheets multiple times before recutting. The marks were dark enough to be visible for an extended period, but washed off with one run through the washing machine. The girls loved their gifts!

I am a ceramic tile artist. I bought this item to transfer computer generated designs to raw bisque tiles which I then paint and fire in a kiln. I had been using standard carbon paper very successfully, but I ran out of it. The description of this item seemed perfect so I ordered it. I took my design and started tracing over it onto my tile and when I took my paper design and the transfer paper off the tile I was shocked to see that I couldn't see anything at all on the tile. I checked to make sure I had the correct side down. I put the transfer paper on the tile and using a pencil and pressing fairly hard, I made a mark directly on the transfer paper and then I was able to see the mark on the tile. I then put my design paper over the transfer paper again and pressed with my pencil as hard as I could without gouging the tile and I still saw NOTHING transferred to the tile. So obviously, this item is useless!
