Peter Griffin Jan 22, 2012
By Logan So the idea was to go to work as Peter Griffin which of course meant I needed green jeans. So I bought washed out jeans and this dye. The jeans came out a bright, almost neon, green. Not sure if I should of split up the dye into two separate washes or if that's just the nature of trying to dye acid washed jeans. Either way the jeans were green and I was Peter Griffin. Good times.

not as easy as they make it (and MESSY!) Dec 27, 2011
By mommy loves I was really hoping for something to toss in the wash and be done with. We have a top load machine and I followed the instructions exactly as on package. It has you put the dye in the machine for 30 seconds in the agitation cycle without anything else but the water....this resulted in it splashing the dye all over the inside of my machine and even seeping out the lid a bit. I had to wash and scrub down the inside of my machine afterwards, ran an empty load and STILL ended up with dye on my clothes in the next cycle. What a mess.....I will just stick to dying things in the sink...

Fine, but better explanation would help Jun 24, 2010

The dye works well, although I wish the explanation in the description on Amazon and the front of the packaging would make clearer the type(s) of fabric it's best for. Apparently dye for cottons and natural fibers is different than dye for man-made fiber. Makes perfect sense now, but I had to buy two types of almost all colors I needed (and wait for the second batch to arrive) to learn that lesson...
