4Great airbrush for learning.  Dec 29, 2010

This was the first airbrush I have used for cake decorating. It was inexpensive and a good investment for learning to airbrush. I like that the compressor is small, making it very portable for on the go jobs and touch ups on site. It works great on fondant and crusted frosting. It is too powerful for soft frosting and will ruin the decorations. I have not figured out how to get a pencil thin line for drawing on cakes with it just yet. It works much better for wider designs and over all color when you can't or don't want to color it before decorating. (Metallic colors work great this way!)

It would have been great if all the parts had come with it. It was super easy to buy online but having to send it back because parts were missing is just a pain in the butt.

There are next to no instructions and even the customer service rep said that when I called the first time. I had to call CS multiple times as I couldn't get more than a drop of color through it and after hours of trying, calling CS and taking it apart and having to make a birthday cake for my granddaughter that day, I through in the towel and went to the store and bought canned airbrush colors and returned this. I am extremely disappointed as I really wanted this. I am awaiting my refund.
