I thought this cutter did not work because I did not know quite how to use it. The instructions are pretty clear on the back though. You have to put the foamboard you intend to cut on top of another foamboard. A matboard doesn't work. It doesnt make sharp turns but it is pretty amazing. It works excellent for my design projects, the cuts are crisp and clean - until you have to change the blade. Sometimes I have to go over some parts of my cut, but it usually cuts at once. The replacement blades WB-20 are also a good price. It is not very ergonomical but it does help so that your arm doesn't get really tired.
