the moisture filter its OK but not the greatest, for the simple reason that moisture still gets out of the nozzle splattering water on the paper leaving a little mess. so you would have to still put a water separator in between air lines to collect most of the moisture before it gets to the pistol filter

Nice inline trap for Iwata air hose and airbrush use. I suppose you could use it with other brands but you would need adapters on both ends. I use it with the Iwata Ninja compressor and Revolution gravity-feed brush, and its fine. The trap fits directly between the airbrush and air hose and acts as sort of a pistol grip below the brush. At first it was a bit odd feeling, but I got used to it. The trap may not work with a siphon feed brush, as the jar adapter may hit the filter. No instructions are included, which is a bit of an issue. It seems you can unscrew the clear plastic reservoir from the metal cap, but the parts do not easily come apart and I was afraid of breaking it. Any moisture caught in the trap can be released via the little spring loaded valve on the back side. Nothing fancy or special but its not super expensive and does the job.

Have used this filter for about a week now, works pretty good. Only problems I've had so far are using bottle adapters with my paints, this filter tends to "be in the way" since there's only so much you can trim off of the adapter without it falling off the brush. Other than that, it's a good buy for me.
