Good Product at a Good Price Dec 12, 2011
By mwc2009 I really like this tracer as a way to get a few basic lines to start a drawing. I only need to use it for a few minutes to get basic lines and proportions, so I don't experience the heating problems mentioned in some other reviews. I also use a fluorescent bulb (as recommended). The instructions were very clear and simple, and told me everything I needed to know. Focus is mostly a matter of moving the device itself to a distance that's appropriate. No problem at all. And the price is great.

good product for the price Aug 23, 2011
By A. Bell I bought this projector because it was in my price range. It works but you do need dimmer light conditions to see the projection clearly. I am satisfied with my purchase.

this is a good little opaque projector for its price. i bought mine at michaels with a coupon for a lot less.but for starters it says to you use a 75 watt bulb (florescent preferred)but i've gotten away with using a 60 watt LED bulb which i highly recomend, it is a little bit dimmer but doesnt get as hot so you can use it longer which means it wont destroy your original. but the enlargement factor is pretty decent you can do any size you want depending on how big the original work is, it does not enlarge good at all after about 5 feet away from the projection. i do not recommend working on projects bigger than 24x36 inches as it becomes a real pain to readjust the projector to fit the scale. good for small projects and hobbies, terrible for professional art pieces.

Not a good option for an enlarger... Dec 29, 2011
By Gary M. This projector was honestly not worth the money. Spend a bit more and get a good projector. I bought it for a modest project, it turned out to be a waste of money. It only allows for 5x amplification and i was very underwhelmed with the clarity of the projection itself. To be fair to amazon, i didn't buy mine from here, i bought it at hobby lobby, but the product itself is what this review is for.
Works as advertised Apr 01, 2013
By Michelle Got my piece going the way I expected it to. Does require a low light room. Picture you are tracing from is close to bulb and will get very warm.
