This is another great amazon bargain: extremely high quality merchandise for 1950s prices! It's also a very unique design that is not available in most art supply stores or warehouses. It's a very warm, reddish walnut finish, with high quality varnishes and fits gracefully and snugly in a corner of my generous but 1-room apartment. It's the perfect solution for engraving and precision drawing projects as I can easily adjust the top with the handles below. It was a little complicated to assemble, but not that much. Just lay out each piece and all the hardware in a grid on the floor and read each step, and it will be done in a few hours. A wonderful low-budget solution for creative people.

I received this as a gift and am very happy with it. The assembly took about an hour -- and we took our time. The instructions are clear, all parts easy to identify. The construction quality is very good -- the table is very stable.

My business needed a work table for an iconographer. We looked at many used drafting tables, new drafting tables, and assorted desks. We settled on this model. It is cute, sturdy, and well constructed.
This is shipped in a flat pack. Construction took two of us 20 minutes to build. We have been using it for over two months. The artist is quite satisfied. We will buy a new one if we expand.

I bought the studio designs table with stool for my wife to use as a scrapbook table and she loves it. Very easy to assemble and it looks well in her scrapbooking room.

Great little drafting table! Feb 14, 2011

I have limited space so I chose this particular drafting table as it was smaller and more affordable then many options, and it's a steal for the price! It's sturdy and adjusts nicely and quite attractive so it doesn't detract from the decor.
