I'm baffled by all the positive reviews! Apr 04, 2012
By whodjyathink Perhaps most of the great reviews are from people using these cloths for something other than eyeglasses, or perhaps the coating on my glasses to prevent glare makes the difference, but these cloths are terrible for my glasses! They are okay at removing smudges- not great. It takes a lot of rubbing with a dry cloth (wet is slightly better, but still not great) to get rid of smudges, and most of the time there is some 'smudge' left on the lens. That's not the worst part though! These cloths leave tiny fibers ALL OVER my lenses. Not just a few. A lot. At first I thought they just needed to be washed, but they have been washed several times now, and no luck. I am not washing them with particularly linty materials or anything, and I can't think of any reason for this problem other than their own inherent linty-ness (of course that's a word :-)

Won't remove above average smudges Feb 11, 2012
By AP This product is very good on dust but is no better than most other microfiber cloths that I tried when it comes to removing those annoying smudges. My glasses have couple of coatings for glare and something else and it loves to collect all sorts of messes but unfortunately the 3M cloth is not all that effective on smudges, it just spreads it thinner so its efficiency totally depends on your luck, which to me is about 50/50 when it comes to small vs big smudges.

Nice Lens Cleaning Cloth Nov 18, 2011
By I. Peters I have used these lens cleaning cloths for years and really like them. They are a suitable alternative to those moist wipes that one uses only once and then tosses. I keep these cloths all around the house: In the living room, at my desk, and also in my purse. They do a great job keeping my glasses clean.
The one thing though that I take great care with is to always store the cloth in either its original packing or a suitable pouch because it does pick up particles and these in turn could scratch my lenses. I also inspect the cloth periodically and replace it if need be. Other than that these are ideal for the job: No chemicals used that could irritate the eye, and can be used many times before they need to be replaced. Anyone looking to replace moist wipes should try these.

Excellent for glasses Aug 05, 2011
By JohnB Being someone that wears glasses all the time, it's important that they're clean as ofteb as possible. Cleaning with a tissue or paper towel didn't work, nor with my shirt. These cleaning cloths do the trick and clean just exactly the way I need them to! I recomend them for anyone who like me, wears glasses!

Excellent Product Apr 11, 2012

These cloths work as advertised. I use an iPad, which requires that you clean the screen of fingerprints once per day.
