I used this on my civic valve cover worked great would recommend using self etching primer prior to painting atleast a two or three coats. Also aircraft paint stripper gets original paint off with ease. The paint wrinkles as well as the stock look do light coats be careful it will run be patient for best results I took 3 days to do mine great outcome let it dry for awhile. Wish auto parts stores carried it but shipping was quick. Good luck.

This is an amazing product. Used it to paint my Acura Integra valve cover as my Type R wrinkle red paint was fading. So, I used aircraft remover, then applied the VHT paint and it came out amazing. After a few months, the paint lasted and no chips or scratches. The more coats you use & do it properly, the nicer the finished product will come out.

I used this on the valve cover of my 2001 jeep TJ 2.5l. I followed the directions and it turned out fantastic! the color is a little more orange than I'd like but it matches the lid. I posted 2 photos in the product description page.

Great paint, nice wrinkle. It does the job. I used this paint for my engine, it savede hundred dollars. It looks like JDM red valve cover.
