Pretty Cool Spray Paint Apr 08, 2011
By hammienmax Similar to the last reviewer, I bought this to repair missing silver on a small mirror which is the backing of a sconce. Turns out that I didn't get much of a reflective appearance when I used it this way. It looked more like gray spray paint filling in the gaps of the mirror. So I totally scraped off the mirror silver leaving me with a clear piece of glass, and then sprayed it with the looking glass spray. It's not as clear and shiny when compared to a real mirror, but it does have reflection and for my purposes I think it'll do the job (eg, the faux mirror is mostly covered by the sconce and bulb). Don't expect the high reflective look of a real mirror. And by the way, it's smaller than a regular can of spray paint. Pay attention to the oz.

Worked out in the end Aug 18, 2011
By Brent Williams Bought this product for a semi-art project to make a 8 window paned door a wall decoration with glass like windows. The application was hard with the nossle breaking off half way through the job. I highly recommend taping off everywhere you do not want this paint. But... in the end, it came out as I wanted and although it is certainly not a vanity mirror it has the antique glass look I was going for.

Krylon Looking Glass Mirror-Like Paint Dec 08, 2010
By Bill I am restoring an old headlight from a Norfolk & Western steam locomotive, circa 1950, and the glass reflector was losing some of the mirror coating (mercury at that time I presume), so I bought this paint through Amazon.com to cover the areas where the mirror coating was missing. I followed the directions, but still did not get quite the high shine as the original had, but it is acceptable. I guess nothing beats the real thing! But as this is a bowl-shaped reflector, I could not find anyone to re-silver it.

Just like a mirror Oct 26, 2010
By Robin W. Goldsmith Could not find this product locally at any of the paint or craft stores. Thank you, Amazon!!! This item was used for a craft project making a cracked glass votive candle holder. It turned out beautiful. Easy to use and has a great mirror shine.
