I used this to "repaint" my jeep dash. i researched theoptions for painting dashes and seats and vinyl dye is the only feasable option for a factory look. Spray paint jsut fills in the lines and contours and such. This is liek spraying permanent ink on your dash... in a goood way. My 1987 jeep looks like it has a brand new interior. With about 15 minuts of prep work including taking it apart and cleaning it all. I jsut wiped it down with a wet rag, then wiped it down with a rag with alchol on it jsut to be safe. and sprayed it on in about 4 light coats. the first coat looked good enough but i can never be too sure. So after 4 coats its looks brand new and shiney and like a whoel new interior! it's such a difference for so little money! i cant see any reason not to buy this especially for old sun and weather worn interiors!! buy it now!! lol

I used this to change color on 2 motorcycle seats. It was easy enough to use and the results were OK, except that where the leather and vinyl wrinkle from sitting the original color soon began to show through, as if it flaked off along the creases. Supposedly the "dye" penetrates the leather or vinyl and permanently changes the color, but it appears to me to be more like paint than dye. Using on parts like door panels and padded dashboards that aren't subject to much flex would probably give better results than using it on seats. Still, my seats look better than they did and it was a whole lot cheaper than having them recovered.

One coat made the dash pad and glove box from a 42 year old car look brand new.........for $8?!?!?! Somebody pinch me.............

This product is great. Brought my 42 year old vinyl interior back to life. I was able to keep my car original but also looking like new. Simple to use, performed as advertised. Highly recommend!
