This is a great cutter. I bought this for our church office. We use it alot for the bullentins and our kids area. It works great with all kinds of paper and sizes. The cutter is also very sleek looking.

The wood is pressed particle board, but of about the best quality you can get. The legs are hollow on the inside, so it could be a little sturdier with more internal support, and rubber foot on the bottom would have been nice to keep it from skidding on our work benches. Our work benches are made with kitchen counter tops.
Hasn't failed us once. Cuts are not good if you push it over anything beyond 7-8 sheets of paper, but for simple flyers or similar its probably OK if you don't demand precision as our applications do.
Go with this one - You will be happy. Most on the market are just junk.

This was a smart investment; as a scrapbooker and student with binders to prep, I use it everyday. I just don't know where to sharpen the blades, but I have heard that you can, without having to buy a new unit.

I bought this cutter to use with my digital scrapbooking. The pictures need to be straight with no rough edges, and this cutter does that and more. I love the blade because it is so precise & sharp. I would recommend this product to any scrapbooker or otherwise.
