This is a great product and allowed me to remove a windshield and rear window by myself in minutes. The only reason I didn't give it a fifth star is because the blade is already cracked after just those two windows. It comes with two blade likely because they know they are brittle. Better blades may be available, I don't know. Either way with the exception of the blade cracking this is a very well made tool and the only way to go to remove a windshield with one person.

Not necessarily the fault of the tool, they are offered all over the place. Probably more the problem that the adhesive holding windshields in place is so hard they are extremely difficult to remove under any conditions.

The windshield removal tool aka cold knife is made of durable metal.....However the replaceable blades wear quickly. I broke the first blade before even getting the window out.. I would suggest buying extra blades and a braided wire from the hardware store to do the bottom of the window which is really hard to do with a cold knife. Even with this tool it is easy to brake a windshield you are removing in the junkyard at a place like pic-a-part/pull-a-part... BE VERY CAREFUL and take your time.

Pretty self-explanatory. A must needed tool for removing glass from a car.
Works like it should if you know what you're doing. If you buy one of these,
buy the spare tips..... it's not much fun when the tip is worn out
