3M two-sided tape Aug 07, 2011
By Walrus 305 We have been using this stuff for about 30 years, wouldn't use anything else. This tape is sold through all PBE suppliers, and runs around $45-$60 a roll....but you get a really fancy plastic pack that snaps shut when you put the unused tape back inside. If you aren't madly in love with this packaging, you can get this stuff on Amazon for well under $15 a roll....the wide tape is a bit more, but you get my drift. This 3M tape will keep insignias and moldings on the car until you decide to remove it, and when you do, the paint will be undamaged and unstained. That's why we have never used adhesives or cheap Chinese tapes, they will turn the paint different colors and often blister the paint, or fall off altogether. If you use this stuff properly, there will be no issues.

Excellent Molding Tape May 01, 2010
By Siddhartha Mukherjee Bought this tape to fix some mouldings and attach door guards to my car. Been about six months and the guards are securely fastened. Our summers are quite hot and typically I have found that with other tapes the adhesive becomes soft. No problems with this tape. Tribute to 3M.

Tough adhesive Nov 12, 2010
By Shiva This tape is holding all 4 door trimmings on my VW golf. Very strong adhesive. Been a year now and no signs of loosening at all.

Perfect for My Needs Jul 16, 2009
By Jerry Palmerino Jr I had a hard plastic bedliner installed on my truck recently. Unfortunately it was warped a little at the top of the bed where it was riveted onto the metal of the truck. There was a gap between the bedliner and the top of the bed (right under the rear windshield to give you an idea of placement), allowing rain to run underneath the bedliner. I purchased some teardrop shaped rubber weatherstripping and applied it with this double-sided tape and the gap is now sealed.
Great product with many uses!

Sticks well! Mar 03, 2009
By D. Dickason It's designed to stick molding to the side of your car and keep it there in rain, sleet, snow, car washes and 75 mph driving. It's Scotch 3M and does everything it is supposed to do. 'Nuff said!
