Description:

Easily applied with 3M Rust Fighter-I Application Wand (PN08998). 8891 Quart Internal panel coating used for corrosion protection. Ideal for restoring corrosion protection following the repair of hem flanges, door skins, rocker panels, and similiar areas. When sprayed, this material flows freely into tight corners and other hard to reach areas. The coating covers evenly, stays tacky and flexible and does not dry. It's low odor permits use indoors. Replaces protection which is applied at the factory and destroyed in the repair procedure. Easily applied with the 3M(TM) Rust Fighter-I Application Wand, part number 08998.

The can fits standard undercoating guns. I personally used it with Automotive Autobody Undercoating Gun and 2 Hoses and it works fine.
Beware that at colder temperature it will clog the wand. It is great to protect undercarriage or other body parts (such as doors) that are prone to rust. You can close the can after use and it does not dry up and can be re-used later if you don't use everything at once.
So far the best product I have used for preventative rust protection.

Stays flexible and flows nicely into tight spaces. I have used this product for about ten years on different vehicles up here in the "road salt belt," and have found that if it is applied correctly into interior areas underneath the body shell or inside frames, I have not had any reust get started. I have also used in on bolt heads to keep them free of rust and removable. For outer areas of the bottom of the body where prone to regular splashing or rock impacts, I use rubberized undercoating. This product works better that rubberized undercoating for enclosed metal areas beacuae I can spray on 2 or 3 coats, drying in between, and make sure no drain holes become plugged.
