Fixing trim on MKIII Golf Mar 12, 2010
By Vladislav Petkov I had looked around in Kragen for something that could do what this product does and always came up short. I don't know why this item isn't stocked in Automobile related stores, but it works awesome. I managed to reattach the trim on my '97 Golf, making me look a lot less ghetto on the road. It is much easier to use this two sided tape than some kind of liquid adhesive! It feels really strong too.

Window Vent Repair Sep 28, 2010
By Vince 8 Tape worked great and as advertised. I used it to reattach a couple of auto window vents that were coming loose. It was easy to use.

Holding up well for a week now Mar 23, 2012
By Eve Used it to replace wind/rain guards for my car windows. They were from an old car and weren't an exact fit, but good enough. This tape is holding up well and it's been a week. Well worth the price instead of paying for new guards that come with this type of tape for over $100.
Update - Been about a month now and all is still great, tape hasn't become unstuck. We've had some VERY windy days and rain.

Used it for car trim and HID ballasts! Dec 14, 2012
By Arvin Tanag Really, really, really strong double sided tape. The tape itself roughly less than 2mm in thickness, but my goodness the adhesive on this is strong. I've used it to re-attach some plastic trim on my car that wasn't secured properly. The old OEM tape on the trim was wearing out due to the years my car has spent outside in the elements (unfortunately not a garaged car) and this did a great job.
I also performed a fun DIY HID retrofit project on my headlights and didn't want to drill holes in my headlight housing to mount the ballasts. Instead, I decided to take my chances with this automotive tape to secure the ballasts to the underside of the housings. I prepped the housing and ballast surfaces properly: degrease and clean, abrase the surface with sandpaper, re-clean, then do a final alcohol swab and dry before applying the tape and ballast. I tried to remove them after mounting them to the housings to try to shift it to the right a little, but it was IMPOSSIBLE... It's been about 3 months now and they're still stuck in place! Good stuff. I'll keep an eye out over the next year and see how it holds up.

Great product. My truck top rail liner was lifting a little. Used this tape and everything is staying nice and flat now. Worth the price and works as advertised.
