I have researched spray booths for a while before making this purchase. I am very pleased. Easy to set up, Easy to change which side for the exhaust. Great efficient 3 stage filter system. Reasonably quite blowers. Heavy weight steel construction.
Very Happy

Excellent Spray Booth Dec 23, 2011

I have used my 1530 booth for over 3 years and it has worked flawlessly. I have painted hundreds of items (I'm a model railroader and mini war gamer) inside my den without a hitch. I do not use a direct vent to the outside but simply open a window directly across from the booth's vent. It works like a charm. Other then filters I have not needed to replace any parts. Keep an eye open for sales and take the plunge, it is worth it for the serious modeler.

I bought two and I am very satisfied! Feb 12, 2012
By Splinterz I bought two and I am very satisfied!
I needed a spray booth (in my garage) large enough to fit a guitar within the booth area. My guitars are 43 high and 14" wide at the widest. I stacked one booth on top of the other and bolted them together. Stacked like this, I got an overall 60 inches high and 15 inches wide. Then I fashioned an angled enclosure I made of clear plastic that extends out and at 30 degrees. This allows plenty of space to rotate the guitar as I spray and any overspray is directed into the booth. I used standard ducting like used on clothes dryers for an entire length of 4 feet. Artograph states that it shouldn't be over 8 feet from fan to outside so this shorter length increases the power of the suction very well.
I had planned to purchase the Grizzly G0532 that has only one fan rated at 1200 CFM capacity; but they had increased their price from $1500 to $2750 since I received their 2010 catalog. After some thought and research I found that 2 Artograph booths stacked provided 740 CFM and featured a total of four explosion proof fans spaced close together. I've used it to finish four guitars so far and the booths work fantastic. I paid only $795 total for a powerful spray booth with ideal coverage for guitars.
The 4 fans are relatively quite, and with casters I attached to the bottom of the frame, the entire assembly is easily moved by hand to take up a very small space. From Home Depot I bought the thick plastic sheeting used for covering floors when painting inside a home. It made a nice sleeve to pull over the booth to keep it very clean while it's not in use
