May be good for other things but NOT for airbrushes Jan 10, 2010

Very disappointed with this product. I bought it to clean my Iwata Revolution airbrush but not even the finer/smaller brush will enter the airbrush needle passage. After some struggling and bending it a couple of times in the process it did enter but the fit was so tight I couldnt move it back and forth so it couldnt perform any cleaning of it at all. When pulling it out "by force", several bristles came loose inside the airbrush.
Definitely NOT recommended for the advertised use.

Almost as good as pipe cleaners! May 12, 2011

I still prefer using pipe cleaners because they tend to remove more of the paint out of the airbrushes. However, I gave it 4 stars because they do work well and enhance the ability of the pipe cleaners to work when used together. Plus, these are reusable, pipe cleaners aren't. So, they are also handy when you run out of pipe cleaners and you're in the middle of Afghanistan and can't run to the store to buy more. Of course they are also convenient for those nights where you run out of pipe cleaners and the stores are closed. They do clean the brushes, just not quite as well. Definitely worth the few bucks they cost. Hope this helps with your decision.

They work fine Oct 31, 2010

I bought these brushes to clean the small tubes of my airbrush bottles. They do a good job for this. I didn't intend to use them on the airbrush itself, and they really aren't exactly what is needed for that it seems. But for the siphon bottles they are a good help.

Great for most airbrushes - not for airbrushes with small needles Jan 22, 2012
By kenredd I've been airbrushing since 1976. When you shove pipe cleaners and other stuff down inside an airbrush, you run the risk of breaking it off inside and becoming stuck. When it comes to safely cleaning airbrushes, you can't beat ultrasonic cleaners - will remove even the most stubborn, dried-on paint. The biggest issue with maintaining airbrushes is troubleshooting problems when they don't work properly. I have written a tutorial on How to Keep Your Airbrush Working. Search: How to Keep Your Airbrush Working. it's on HubPages

mini brushes Oct 31, 2011

I received my brushes in a timely manner and was happy with that. The only thing I wish were different would the brushes would be stiffer. They are very soft. I'm not sure what I'm going to use them for now. They were very inexpensive so there is no point in sending them back.
